Theoretically aspects of political competence cadets' formation of the National Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine.

Abstract

The paper deals with the political competence of the students of the National Academy of the
National Guard of Ukraine. There is the example of the development of foreign and domestic political
culture as an essential component of political competence. The basic components of the political
competence and political culture are analyzed. We consider the establishment of military political
science in Ukraine. We drew the conclusions on the value and further development of the political
competence of the students. We pointed the need for further scientific-theoretical substantiation of the
problem of political competence of cadets of the National Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine.
Emphasis is placed on the need for quantitative and qualitative research to measure the quality of the
political competence of the cadets and proposals to guide the military institutions of Ukraine.
